Twitter tightens its security measures to stop rise in bogus emails

Twitter SecurityIn a bid to stop email spoofing, Twitter has implemented a new technology called DMARC. This follows an increase in reports of phishing emails that appear to come from addresses.

Josh Aberant from Twitter said: “there’s no shortage of bad actors sending emails that appear to come from a address in order to trick you into giving away key details about your Twitter account, or other personal information, commonly called “phishing”.
