Following Google announcement in recent years that it would boost ranking of secured HTTPS/SSL websites in search results. It has come to our attention that Google’s Chrome browser will start showing a not secure warning when password or credit card fields are detected on an HTTP page.
To avoid any negative impact on your hard earned visitors it is recommended to have your websites secured, we already have this in place for a number of clients with more requesting information on what options are available.
Eventually, Chrome will show a “Not Secure” warning for all pages served over HTTP, regardless of whether or not the page contains sensitive input fields. Mozilla Firefox is already showing these warnings.
Our advise is it’s better to deal with this sooner rather than later, get in touch to see how we can help you, secure your website and not loose out of valuable potential clients.
